It's
been over a year since our last newsletter and it's been an exciting
year!
ABS: Our first full
year with ABS has been very successful. Together, RPS and ABS are providing
the best available products and service to make every project successful.
ABS has expanded its closed-loop cooling system to 375HP! Closed-loop
cooling is simply to best way to cool a dry-pit sewage pump. Others are
attempting to copy, but ABS is leading the way. Closed
loop cooling is now available on all motors up to 375HP. Class H motor
insulation is now standard on all motors. Cartridge mechanical seals are
now available on small motors up to 40HP. Don't forget ABS' great mixers,
aerators, and compressors. Latest projects:
USEMCO (complete packaged water and wastewater pump stations): Time and time again, new
customers say the same thing "This is the way to do a pump
station". We agree. If you've used Usemco, you already
know. Hundreds of successful installations in NJ/NY speak for
themselves. There is no company that builds better water and
wastewater systems. Why? Because Usemco builds and
engineers the whole system in-house. Others sub out
various aspects or systems, resulting in less control over quality and
causing more trouble during start-up and in
the aftermarket. We help you from design to the aftermaket covering

PATTERSON (water and wastewater pumps): Patterson has a new line called
Pro-Max. New 2" to 10" close-coupled
end-suction, split-case, and in-line pumps supplement
Patterson's existing large offerings to better serve our customers.

FLOWAY (vertical turbine pumps): When customers are having trouble with VTP's, Floway
is getting the call. Floway's Engineering Dept. is second to none.
Most competitors are just selling cast-iron. If you need more than
cast-iron, try Floway. A recent 150HP canned unit tested at 87%
efficient, 4 points better than planned. Latest projects in Monroe and
Parsippany.
AQUAPOINT (modular wastewater treatment plants): Our territory has been expanded
to include lower NY state. The Aquapoint Bioclere is the simplest,
most cost effective way to treat wastewater. Aquapoint, in conjuction
with Hydroxyl, is now offering a fixed film process called Lotus-ActiveCell for
the decentralized market on flows up to 500,000 GPD. Latest
