ABS is headquartered in Meriden, CT.  This facility includes a warehouse with pumps and parts in stock.  A local stocking facility enables us to provide our customers with the service and support that they demand.  The facility also includes a service department and a test stand for witnessed certified tests.  Over 50 employees, from application engineers to customer service representatives, are there to help.  Tours of the ABS facility are available.

Please call or e-mail Reiner Pump Systems for selection software, catalogs (hard copy or CD), or brochures.  Also, we would like to schedule a lunchtime presentation at your office at your convenience.  Let us know if we can help you with any current or future products.

Other news:

USEMCO (complete packaged water and wastewater pump stations):  For the second consecutive year, Reiner Pump Systems has been named the number one USEMCO representative in the country.  As proud as we are of this accomplishment, we could not have achieved this level of success without the outstanding service and support offered by USEMCO.  USEMCO's latest product, the Elite, has continued to gain momentum with consulting engineers and owners alike.  The Elite includes pumps, valves, controls, generator and automatic transfer switch all with one heated and insulated enclosure.  The Elite can be used with submersible pumps, vacuum prime non-clog pumps, end suction pumps or vertical multistage pumps.  The Elite is also partially buried in order to maintain a low profile, making this product ideal for residential areas.  Please let us know if you would like to schedule a time to see a local USEMCO Elite installation or any other USEMCO installations.   www.usemco.com

PATTERSON (water and wastewater pumps):   Patterson Pump Co. continues to build pumping equipment with the heavy duty construction that has become increasingly difficult to find in the pump industry.  Many pump manufacturers have attempted to cut manufacturing costs by minimizing bearing spans, reducing the thickness of castings, reducing shaft diameters, etc.   However, Patterson has continued to use the same robust pump designs that they have been using for over fifty years and that have established Patterson as the one premier manufacturers of pumping equipment.

Patterson Pump Co. is also renewing its marketing efforts in the area of double-disc gate valves.  Patterson has owned and manufactured the Ludlow-Rensselaer line of double-disc gate valves since 1988.  In 2005, we will be shipping the first two (out of ten) 60" all stainless steel double-disc gate valves for one of the NYCDEP Delaware Aqueduct projects.    www.pattersonpumps.com

FLOWAY (vertical turbine pumps):  Floway offers manufacturing capabilities that few of its competitors can rival.  Floway not only offers virtually unlimited materials of construction, but excels at manufacturing pumps for the petroleum industry that must meet API-610 standards.  There are only a handful of vertical turbine pump manufacturers that can build turbines that meet this stringent specification.  Next time you fly out of Newark Liberty Airport, look for the fuel tank farm and you will see a row of 20+ Floway vertical turbine pumps that fuel your plane.  As a result of this remarkable manufacturing capability, Floway can offer PMLV (Precision Machined Low Vibration) vertical turbine pumps for the municipal market.  By greatly reducing vibration, Floway can offer its clients a product that will prove to have superior service life while reducing the owner's O&M costs.

AQUAPOINT (modular wastewater treatment plants):   Aquapoint is introducing a new treatment line called Lotus, good to flows of 1MGD.  We also shipped our first Bioclere unit to Tewksbury, NJ.   www.aquapoint.com
